They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer with 8+ years of experience and strong expertise in the Digital Banking domain, specifically for someone passionate about test automation and modern quality engineering practices to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant banking solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and Core Banking APIs.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing, and Postman / REST Assured for API testing.
- Participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle.
- Actively learn and adopt new testing tools and techniques, especially in automation and AI-assisted testing, to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services.
- Solid understanding of digital banking workflows including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels.
- Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing, and Postman / REST Assured for API testing.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
- Experience in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC.
- Holds an ISTQB Test certification
