Akamai is seeking a motivated, proactive, and skilled Technical Support Engineer II to join their customer support team working on innovative cybersecurity technology. The role involves partnering with the best in the industry to diagnose and resolve product, platform, and customer issues using tools, process, and knowledge. Akamai provides the world's most distributed platform from Cloud to Edge to help digital giants work faster and stay more secure, focusing on Cloud and Edge, Security, Content Delivery, and AI.

Responsibilities

Learning and gaining in depth experience in Akamai's Guardicore Segmentation, zero trust network security.
Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues.
Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams.
Leading investigations on Akamai's Guardicore Segmentation and Zero Trust product for customers.
Analyzing existing technical issues on Akamai's Guardicore Segmentation, Zero Trust product, proposing solutions to prevent issues.

Requirements

4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers.
Knowledge of the technologies: Linux Operating System (Mandatory), Basic Networking, Virtualization, Cloud Technologies.
High availability and a responsiveness mindset.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of any Scripting Languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python
