Role overview
The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems within the EMC ETL stream
- Work on Client Onboarding and manage reference data domain tables
- Collaborate directly with global application development teams, Operations teams/partners to successfully integrate application data
- Perform unit testing with proper documentation to adhere to application standards
- Work closely with other team members, onsite and remote to ensure consistent development practices within the application
- Participate in the strategic Abinitio to Python Migration initiative to set up the ETL architecture
- Provide ongoing maintenance and L3 production support
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Python/PySpark, SQL/Oracle, Unix, Autosys, Kubernetes
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ETL Data Processing tools
