Role overview

As a Technical Lead specializing in full stack development with AngularJS, React, and Node.js, you will take ownership of functionalities, collaborate with colleagues, and design, test, and evolve systems while ensuring high-quality, robust code. You'll build scalable, secure systems, practice Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD), and manage project priorities in a self-organizing team.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and evolve frontend and backend systems to support customer-facing and internal features, incorporating best practices for security, testability, observability, and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver a compelling user experience.
Contribute to tools, workflows, and culture to ship code from your laptop/workstation to production frequently and confidently.
Practice Behavior Driven Development (BDD) to collaborate and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code quality.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables as part of a self-organizing team.
Learn and unlearn every day by exchanging knowledge, conducting constructive code reviews, and participating in retrospectives.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
3+ years building scalable systems on Node.js.
3+ years building scalable systems on AngularJS and React.
4+ years building highly performant applications involving databases (relational/non-relational), infrastructure, APM, and other tech tools.
Proven ability to write clean and SOLID principle-driven code.
Well-versed in writing DAMP automated tests that are readable and robust.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to articulate technical problems and projects to all stakeholders.
Database platform knowledge.
Agile methodology knowledge.
Fundamental knowledge of REST services, DB querying, JMS, TDD, and jQuery.

Nice to have

Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Flutter, the AWS ecosystem, REST APIs, Gherkin syntax and Cucumber for behavior specifications, tools to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and serverless infrastructure.
Experience architecting cloud-native systems and managing their production deployments.
Experience with architecture patterns such as Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Onion Architecture, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and different Event-Driven Architecture patterns.
