We are looking for a Data Governance Engineer to implement and manage technical governance controls across the Medallion architecture, focusing on data entitlements, classification, and lineage tracking while ensuring governance frameworks are integrated with Snowflake and dbt across all Wave 1 data products.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage technical governance controls across the Medallion architecture
Focus on data entitlements, classification, and lineage tracking
Ensure governance frameworks are integrated with Snowflake and dbt across all Wave 1 data products
Capture and manage structured metadata at the point of data source onboarding

Requirements

3+ years of experience in data governance, data engineering, or related roles
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices
Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
Experience implementing data classification, access controls, and lineage tracking
Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloging tools
Understanding of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
Ability to integrate governance controls into modern data platforms
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
