The Indirect Tax Analyst is responsible for assisting sales and use tax compliance in accordance with state and local laws, playing an integral role in a high-performance team.
Responsibilities
- Collect, file, and maintain sales tax exemption certificates.
- Update customer taxability status in ERP system.
- Assist Sales Tax Supervisor with certificate campaigns.
- Assist AR/CS in researching and resolving customer sales tax issues and answering taxability questions.
- Gather the necessary information to support the Company’s position during sales tax audits.
- Provide support to the Supervisor Indirect Tax during tax audits.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in GST sales tax compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform under tight deadlines with flexibility.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel.
- Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Word.
Nice to have
- Experience with Vertex or other similar sales and use tax compliance software.
- Customer Service experience.
