Role overview
OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) which benefits all of humanity. The Go To Market (GTM) team is responsible for helping customers learn how to leverage and deploy OpenAI’s highly capable AI products across their business. This team includes Sales, Solutions, Support, Marketing, and Partnership professionals working together to create valuable solutions that bring AI to as many users as possible. The GTM Readiness Lead will play a key role in building foundational processes and programs to enable the GTM team to achieve its mission. This includes developing sales enablement strategies, creating training programs, and collaborating cross-functionally to support customer-facing roles in achieving their goals. The role is based in Mumbai, India.
Responsibilities
- Define the sales enablement strategy by identifying obstacles and gaps and prioritizing initiatives that will support GTM teams in achieving and succeeding in their goals.
- Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Adoption, Deployment, and other teams to build internal and external-facing collateral that will support the GTM team in best selling to and serving customers.
- Build, manage, and automate information and collateral that GTM team members need to be effective in their roles.
- Manage the regional Sales and Technical Success training calendar and run trainings, which may include new process roll-outs, product launches, and other programs to make the teams more effective in their roles.
Requirements
- Experience building programs and initiatives from scratch to enable rapidly scaling GTM teams.
- Exceptional project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence, with experience presenting in front of large audiences.
- A combination of technical depth and strategic thinking; and enjoy translating day-to-day patterns into scalable solutions.
- An understanding of the AI landscape, its applications, and the problems they solve for customers.
- The ability to thrive in ambiguity and work autonomously.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- The ability to operate with high horsepower, be adept at frequent context switching, work on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and practice ruthless prioritization.
