Role overview

This position involves preparing accurate tax returns, developing tax‑saving strategies, and ensuring timely payments. The Tax Accountant collaborates with internal teams and external auditors to support audits, minimize risks, and align the organization’s financial strategies with tax requirements.

Responsibilities

Working on Indirect Taxation matters with third party tax consultants including filing of tax returns and finalization of Audits, Accounts, Documentation and MIS Reporting for US and international geographies
Supervising all US and International tax compliance and submissions including US State and Local Sales, VATs & Use Tax and withholding taxes
Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for the above matters
Performs research activities on tax issues, have informed discussion with the tax consultant and advises internal teams
Handling the internal and external audits
Developing tax‑saving strategies and ensuring timely payments

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
Proven experience in tax accounting, compliance, and tax return preparation
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
