Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines to clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL processes while working with large and complex datasets.
- Perform quality assurance on imported data and collaborate with multiple teams as needed.
- Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Support the data warehouse by identifying and refining reporting requirements.
- Develop and troubleshoot reports and dashboards using single or multiple data sources.
- Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in MSSQL, Batch/Powershell, REST API's, PBI Reporting
- Strong understanding of data methodologies and processes.
- Hands on experience in ETL/ELT
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated experience handling large datasets and relational databases.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented team with multiple concurrent projects.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including Redshift, Airflow, S3, and related services.
- Knowledge on Oracle EBS/Salesforce Finance modules.
- Knowledge on MS-SSIS and SSAS
- Knowledge on Data warehousing & Data modeling
