Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Noida (Onsite) Timing: US Shift (5:30PM- 2:30 AM) Job Description: We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with knowledge of Selenium, Java/Javascript/Typescript, and API testing. The role involves writing automated test scripts, performing functional and regression testing, tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment. Duties: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and application testing. Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test strategies and test cases. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution. Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Review test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Continuously improve test coverage, testing processes, and quality standards. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 58 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation testing. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Typescript. Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab. Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
