Role overview
HPS Investment Partners, now part of BlackRock, is a leading global credit-focused alternative investment manager offering creative capital solutions across various strategies (e.g., senior/ junior debt, liquid credit, asset-based finance, real estate). The Investment Data Management team ensures accurate and timely data entry, flow, and representation across systems. The role involves supporting the Private Financing Solutions (PFS) platform in Mumbai, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Asset creation and maintenance across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, Options) in the firm’s Security Master
- Analyze credit agreements on a daily basis
- Reference data creation and maintenance in the firm’s Reference Master system
- Maintain and monitor the data exception panel that reconciles vendor data feeds to internal data warehouse
- Investigate & resolve any attribute discrepancies that may arise between data vendors and internal systems
- Daily interaction with Vendors, Risk, Technology, and Front Office teams to ensure proper creation of assets across the platform
- Creation and maintenance of internal strategies, UDF tags as well as clearing/executing broker accounts within firm systems
Requirements
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field
- 3-6 years of experience in financial services industry
- Knowledge of bank loan products; Broadly Syndicated and Private
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook

- Shift - 2-11 PM
