The Financial Analyst role involves assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, supporting FP&A and Accounting systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the support, planning, analysis, and delivery of key financial tools, as well as running and maintaining their integration with other Fictiv’s systems.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the planning tools are up and running and to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with the recurring forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close.
- Automate data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards.
- Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new systems and new reports and administer those reports going forward.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing business application architecture, including integrations and data structures.
- Identify the data needs for Financial tasks and communicate with Data teams and other business partners to close the gaps.
- Troubleshoot problems that Finance’s teams encounter with Fictiv’s tools and systems, including but not limited to the planning tools, NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, and Sigma.
- Interface with external software vendors for product issues, troubleshooting and resolution; initiating Service Requests (SR's) as necessary with other 3rd Party Vendors.
- Liaise and act as representative for Fictiv FP&A to other systems teams within the organization.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered around existing systems.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.
- Required experience with implementation and management of financial planning systems such as Hyperion/ NSPB or Anaplan.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle ERP systems (required).
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance and Accounting principles.
- Extremely organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, strong sense of accountability, and a proven track record of delivering results.
- Must work well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, and possess excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Must be able to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate solutions for system issues to the stakeholders.
Nice to have
- 3-5 years in a similar role, preferred at a technology or manufacturing related business.
- A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Odoo, Sigma (desirable).
- Skills in tools for efficiently querying large databases.
- Expertise with MS Office suite and G. suite.
