The role offers a competitive monthly rate of $1800-2150, 40 hours per week availability, and flexibility across EST or MST time zones.
Responsibilities

- Write copy inside sequences in the brand voice of plain, problem-first, and honest communication for trade business owners
- Monitor sequence performance metrics such as opens, clicks, replies, drop-off points, show rates, and conversions
- Test subject lines, send times, and cadence, optimizing what works and killing underperforming elements
- Build monitoring systems for forms, Zapier integrations, automations, booking calendars, and tracking to catch issues quickly
- Review campaign work before shipping (ads, copy, landing pages, emails) against brand and goals, providing early flags when needed
- Keep the marketing calendar, deadlines, and deliverables moving across agency partners and vendors
- Track obligations, chase status from non-reporting parties, and flag missed deadlines to leadership
- Create clear directives for creative packages after receiving vendor work and own the decision-making process
- Maintain weekly marketing reporting accuracy, including scorecards, KPI tracking, and lead-source reports
- Report anomalies in marketing reporting proactively
Requirements
- Enter English Proficiency Rating (CEFR level) in application form; take EF SET Quick Check if unsure
- Submit Coconut VA Profile (Resume) following the provided template and ensure it is written in English
- Record a 1-minute introduction video (preferably using Loom) and provide a working link in the application
- Possess hands-on experience in Lifecycle and CRM marketing (GoHighLevel), owning the lifecycle engine end to end
- Demonstrate email and SMS copywriting ability in the brand voice for trade business owners
- Conduct workflow analysis by monitoring sequence performance (opens, clicks, replies, drop-offs, show rates, conversions)
- Perform marketing operations QA to catch issues in forms, Zapier integrations, automations, booking calendars, and tracking before leads are affected
- Provide day-to-day coordination to keep marketing calendars, deadlines, and deliverables moving across agency partners and vendors
- Ensure accurate weekly marketing reporting (scorecards, KPIs, lead-source reports) and flag anomalies
- Use GoHighLevel or a similar CRM/email marketing platform with hands-on experience building and managing lifecycle, nurture, and engagement campaigns
- Be proficient with marketing reporting and analytics tools to track performance and interpret data
- Have core digital marketing platform familiarity (Meta, Google, social tools, web analytics) to coordinate campaigns and review partner output
Nice to have
- 3+ years in email, lifecycle, or CRM marketing where you both wrote copy and built campaigns
- Strong writing ability demonstrating natural, conversational US English
- Experience working with external agencies or vendors to track deliverables from non-reporting individuals
- Organized and reliable with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comfort with AI tools (paid tools provided) for drafting, building, and analyzing content faster
- Experience marketing to trades, home services, or small business owners (optional but valued)
