Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our cancer care platform, with an emphasis on user experience, workflow integration, and security
- Build the core systems and tools that enable our care team to serve patients as efficiently and effectively as possible, collaborating with operations, product, data engineering, and analytics
- Follow secure development practices and handle protected health information (PHI) with care, working within the HIPAA and SOC 2 controls our team maintains
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing and building user-centric products, and you write code you're proud to have reviewed
- Comfortable working across the stack and picking up unfamiliar parts of a system
- Familiarity with healthcare technology, including EHRs and interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7)
- Move with purpose and urgency, thriving in environments where speed and adaptability are crucial
- Clear communicator who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity: skilled at adapting to rapid changes, balancing competing priorities, and navigating evolving business landscapes
Nice to have
- Fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and actively incorporating them into your workflow to move faster and write better code
- Experience with python and AWS managed services (EventBridge, Lambda, DynamoDB)

- As a Software Engineer at Daymark Health, you will contribute to our technical strategy, build secure and scalable infrastructure, and play a key role in the development of our core product
