Company Description BNC Motors (Bharat New-energy Company) is focused on accelerating the shift to sustainable energy, starting with advanced electric two-wheelers. The company designs, develops, and manufactures its vehicles in India, using cutting-edge technology and engineering to deliver high-performance products at strong value. BNC Motors aims to create EVs that outperform internal combustion engine vehicles in value, convenience, performance, and reliability. With a highly technology-driven culture, numerous patents, and deep indigenization, BNC Motors brings together engineers, thinkers, and innovators committed to redefining mobility. Role Description The Embedded Systems Engineer will work on the design, development, and optimization of embedded hardware and firmware for electric two-wheeler platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring microcontrollers, implementing control algorithms, integrating sensors and actuators, and writing efficient, reliable embedded code for vehicle systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to test, debug, and validate embedded solutions, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with automotive standards. The engineer will also support continuous improvement, documentation, and version control for embedded software releases. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. Qualifications Strong foundation in embedded systems, including microcontrollers, real-time operating concepts, and low-level programming (e.g., C/C++). Experience with hardware–software integration, debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, SPI, I2C). Knowledge of control systems, power electronics interfaces, and battery or motor control for EV or automotive applications is highly beneficial. Familiarity with version control systems, documentation practices, and structured software development lifecycles. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field. Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in technical and non-technical discussions. Prior experience in automotive or electric vehicle product development, and exposure to safety or reliability standards, is a plus. Show more
