Responsibilities
- QA Team Management: responsible for managing proper coordination between the individuals involved in the testing process.
- Lead the team and ensure the success of the application.
- Scope Estimation: define the scope of testing in the context of the completion of each module.
- Resource Allocation: The allocation of testing resources and their management.
- Planning and Deployment: build test planning by implementing smart testing strategies and automation testing tools.
- Ensure all testing planning is executed accordingly.
- Documentation: create a document that contains all the testing issues, test cases, actions taken, and resolutions, including potential problems.
- Streamline testing processes to increase quality, production, and overall growth, aiming for quality delivery by saving organizational expenses and time.
- QA manager coordinates with the lead developer and discusses bugs, shares issues found in code, and recommends solutions.
- Project and CR Evaluation: Estimation of overall testing time and resource needs to allow for proper costing analysis.
- Ability to work in both Pre-Sales as well as implementation teams.
- Interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality, identify fit/gap as well as technical solutions for gaps.
- May lead detailed module specific explore sessions.
- Use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps, and provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
- Effectively plan configuration and master data development.
- Ensure SAP is meeting project objectives/vision.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
- At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
- Understanding of SAP Activate Methodology.
- Understanding of integration between modules.
- Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality as well as integration points with other modules.
- Understands how to utilize SAPs Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements.
- Ability to estimate resources needed to meet customer requirements.
