We are looking for a leader as a Mines Manager for Ghogharpalli Coal Mines, VAML Responsibilities: Lead and manage all mining operations to achieve production, productivity, quality, and dispatch targets while ensuring operational excellence Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements under the Mines Act, CMR, Mines Rules, DGMS regulations, and other applicable mining laws Drive a strong safety culture and achieve Zero Harm by implementing robust safety management systems, conducting audits, mitigating risks, and optimizing production costs (Rs/GCV) while ensuring adherence to approved operating budgets. Achieve planned stripping ratio, coal recovery, and reserve conservation targets with minimal geological loss and dilution. Collaborate closely with MDOs, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless mine operations and target achievements. Optimize utilization of mining equipment, resources, and manpower to maximize productivity, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime. Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance, responsible mining practices, and achievement of Zero Waste targets. Desired Skills B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 12- 18 years of relevant experience in large opencast coal mining operations Should hold a First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Coal) issued by DGMS (Mandatory) Proven experience in managing mine production, safety, statutory compliance, contractor/MDO management, and ESG initiatives.
