Key highlights
- Experience in modeling with UML is required.
- Experience with semantic technologies like RDF/OWL is preferred.
- Flexible work location including home office and European remote work is a key benefit.
- Continuous learning is supported with time and budget.
- The role involves developing ontologies with OWL/RDF.
- Strong communication skills are required for explaining models to stakeholders.
Role overview
Responsibilities
- You speak with domain experts from different departments, understand their domain knowledge, and translate it into formal, semantic models.
- You act as a central translator between the business domains and our engineering team. You ensure that the knowledge model both reflects the professional reality and is technically excellent to implement.
- You design and moderate workshops to develop and establish a shared understanding (a "Shared Language") for key business concepts together with stakeholders.
- You work closely with our engineering team to conceptually accompany the integration of databases, APIs, and other sources into the Knowledge Graph.
- Using standards like OWL/RDF, you not only create the model but also define the logical rules and constraints that ensure the quality and consistency of our Knowledge Graph.
Requirements
- You have a passion for structure and logic. You think abstractly and love to translate complex relationships into clear, formal structures. Your ability to go from the concrete to the abstract distinguishes you.
- You have experience in modeling, e.g., with UML.
- You can explain complex technical and logical models in a way that is understandable and convincing for both domain experts and developers. You listen excellently and ask the right questions.
- You have a basic technical understanding. You know how data flows in systems. Terms like APIs, databases, and data pipelines are not foreign to you.
- You have the drive not only to manage existing systems but to co-design and advance a new form of knowledge organization for AI from the ground up.
Nice to have
- Ideally, you already have experience with semantic technologies (RDF, OWL).
- First experiences with graph technologies (e.g., SPARQL, Cypher) are a big plus, but not a must.
Benefits
- We believe that you know best how, when, and where you are productive. Whether home office, co-working space, or sometimes in the European abroad - you shape your working day according to your needs. When we meet, our events are real highlights that bring us closer together as a team.
- Learning never stops for us. We support you in continuously developing yourself - with time, budget, and an environment that promotes exchange and further thinking. Curiosity is not a "nice-to-have" for us, but a central value.
- At digetiers, you not only shape your own role, but also actively shape our company. Whether in projects, processes, or our culture - your ideas count. We believe in bold co-creation instead of rigid structures.
- We like to laugh - and still deliver at the highest level. Fun and willingness to perform are not mutually exclusive for us, but mutually reinforcing.
- One for all, all for one - at digetiers, that's not only the origin of our name, but lived reality. We win as a team and have each other's backs.
