Role overview

Aikido is building developer-first security products designed to reduce real risk without slowing down software shipping, aiming to replace legacy security tools. Founded in 2022 by third-time founders with $85M in funding, the company is working toward the goal of self-securing software. The company is seeking an experienced content writer with a cloud security background to translate industry slang and acronyms into understandable language, creating valuable content for users such as blogs, guides, tutorials, and articles in collaboration with marketing, product, and dev teams.

Responsibilities

Primarily focus on writing high-quality, original, and engaging content for cloud sec engineers/devsecops leads/CISOs.
Work closely with our content team and in-house SEO expert to prioritize tasks.
Work closely with our designers to make sure all content has great visuals that enhance the reader's experience.
Work with our editor to ensure the copy meets our language, structure, and tone of voice.
Continuously optimize our online content for SEO performance.

Requirements

You have a technical understanding of cloud security & can understand our technology & products. You should be able to discuss this on a technical level.
You have great writing skills & are experienced in writing blogs, articles, tutorials, docs, how-to guides, etc.
You know SEO and understand what works.
Exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills.
You are comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment.
Fluent in English - native level.

Nice to have

experience with AppSec or other dev tooling
