Role overview
Aikido is a security startup focused on creating developer‑first security products that reduce real risk without slowing releases. The role seeks an experienced content writer with a cloud security background to produce high‑quality, SEO‑friendly content for engineers, DevSecOps leads and CISOs while collaborating closely with product, marketing, SEO, design and editorial teams.
Responsibilities
- Write high‑quality, original, and engaging content for cloud security engineers, DevSecOps leads, and CISOs
- Collaborate with the content team and in‑house SEO expert to prioritize tasks
- Work with designers to ensure all content includes great visuals that enhance the reader’s experience
- Co‑ordinate with editors to ensure copy meets language, structure, and tone of voice guidelines
- Continuously optimize online content for SEO performance
- Deeply understand Aikido’s technology and product by working with marketing, product and dev teams to translate complex security concepts into accessible content
Requirements
- Technical understanding of cloud security and ability to discuss products on a technical level
- Extensive experience writing blogs, articles, tutorials, documentation, and how‑to guides
- Strong SEO knowledge and understanding of what works
- Exceptional grammar, research, fact‑checking, writing and editing skills
- Comfortable working in a very entrepreneurial environment
- Fluent in English – native level
