Role overview
We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer for the stability of a profitable, growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup. We are a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of software integration principles and practices, with proficiency in Python scripting and software APIs. This role involves acting as a technical advisor to business teams and developing solutions utilizing various technologies, including IRPA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions that meet the needs of our business users.
- Work with business teams to understand and translate their requirements into technical specifications.
- Write Python scripts and work with software APIs to automate integration tasks.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing integration solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest integration technologies and best practices.
- Work in cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Advise in RPA strategy especially as it relates to intelligent process automation using UI Path or Power Automate.
- Evaluate third-party software tools and services.
Requirements
- Relevant working experience as integrations engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software integration principles and practices.
- Proficiency with Python scripting and software APIs.
- Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory.
- Proficient in developer best practices leveraging Git.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 5-7 years of relevant working experience.
Nice to have
- Experience using RPA technology such as UI Path and Power Automate
