Founding Engineer

Role Summary KDCI Outsourcing is looking for a Founding Engineer to take on broad technical ownership in a fast-moving environment. You'll help shape the technical direction, build core systems from the ground up, and wear multiple hats as needs evolve. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and ship core product features from the ground up Make key architectural and technical decisions with long-term impact Work closely with founders/leadership to translate vision into technical execution Take ownership across the stack — front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and beyond Establish engineering practices, tooling, and standards early on Adapt quickly as priorities and requirements shif Requirements Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience, including early-stage or startup experience Strong full-stack development skills and system design fundamentals Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities Excellent communication and ownership mindset Track record of shipping and scaling products independently Nice-to-Haves Experience as an early engineer or co-founder at a startup Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered product development Experience hiring and mentoring engineers as a team grows Highlights Lead product development, shape architecture, and build scalable systems from the ground up.
