Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other product team members to develop and maintain a growing set of applications and features.
- Analyze problems and consider existing architecture as well as future functionality when developing solutions.
- Optimize the application for performance and scalability.
- Constantly think about improving the current code, usability, and user experience, with a laser focus on making the app super amazing and helping the team and company succeed.
- Write quality code, try new technologies, and play well with others.
- Deal with complexity, lots of moving pieces, coordinating with third parties, and cross‑functional teams.
- Identify and solve edge‑cases with exquisite attention to detail.
Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience in Dart/Flutter.
- 1.5+ years of unit testing experience in Dart.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to over‑communicate in a remote work setting.
- Humility, collaboration, time management, and communication are as important as technical skills.
- Analytical thinker with exceptional problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of engineering and design best practices, especially as it relates to scaling high‑traffic and data‑heavy applications.
- Previous experience designing, building, and scaling an application to support load changes related to growth.
- Comfortable dealing with complexity, coordinating with third parties, and working with cross‑functional teams.
- Exquisite attention to detail and ability to identify and solve edge‑cases.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
- An excellent team player.
- Must have used Git.
