Company Description Koncepts is a next-generation IB learning platform that supports PYP, MYP, and DP in one integrated ecosystem designed by experienced IB teachers. Role Description The Developer Intern will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of features across Koncepts’ IB learning platform. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves collaborating closely with product, design, and teaching teams to build reliable, user-friendly tools for students and educators. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing front-end interfaces, extending back-end APIs, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, writing clean and well-documented code, and supporting integration of AI-driven features. The intern will participate in code reviews, learn best practices for software engineering, and help improve development workflows and tooling. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful education technology, gain exposure to modern tech stacks, and contribute to a product used by teachers and students worldwide. Qualifications Foundational programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar), with the ability to write clean, maintainable code. Basic understanding of web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular). Familiarity with server-side development, RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL or NoSQL) is preferred. Comfort with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices, including code reviews and issue tracking. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional teams. Interest in education technology, IB curricula, or AI-driven learning solutions is an advantage. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Show more
