Role overview
As a Software Engineer at HARMAN Automotive, you will contribute to the design and development of new software—ranging from prototyping and writing functional code to testing and implementation. You will leverage your knowledge of programming languages and databases to engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. Working within a global, multi-disciplinary team, you will combine ingenuity, research, and collaboration to advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment.
Responsibilities
- Develop software models using C++, modern C++
- Collaborate with system engineers to ensure that software models accurately reflect system behavior and requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to maintain high software quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in model-based development techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with the team to support various stages of the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic and E&TC Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in model-based software development.
- Proficiency in C++ development
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of QT/QML
