Role overview

Responsibilities

Contribute to the improvement of the development and build process
Design and develop production-grade, enterprise-level systems that make extensive use of messaging and microservices
Participate in the Java implementation of a micro‑services solution, writing backend code that is reliable, fast, scalable, and secure while satisfying requirements and service level agreements
Write OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implement validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests
Assist with deployment and configuration of the system and set up CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker is assumed
Work comfortably within a team, follow Scrum procedures and disciplines, and estimate work when requested
Write technical documentation and ensure secure coding practices, logging, and auditing features are accounted for
Communicate in a clean, concise way to peers and upper layers when needed
Use Git following pull‑request procedures and write clean, secure, high‑quality code

Requirements

More than 15 years in IT
More than 9 years of experience in Java Backend Development using REST APIs, RDBMs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines and BDD
Experience in more than two production‑ready solutions written in Java with Vert.X
Experience in more than two production‑ready solutions using Apache NiFi 2.0
Experience in at least one production‑ready solution using Tensorflow and Tensorflow Java bindings
Experience in more than one production‑ready project with OAUTH standard
More than two years of experience in an international/multi‑cultural environment
More than three years of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
Sound knowledge of Apache Camel including Enterprise Integration patterns and messaging systems such as ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ
Sound knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot 3 and Vert.X
Sound knowledge of the design and development of back‑end components (REST APIs, integrations, micro‑services)
Sound knowledge of how to write unit tests for Java
Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., AGILE)
Good knowledge of programming on SQL Server databases with TSQL
Good knowledge of OOP paradigms and SOLID principles
Good knowledge of the OAUTH standard and application design
Good knowledge of Kafka Stream architecture
Ability to be part of an Agile team implementing Scrum (team worker, easy‑going, good communication capabilities)
