Responsibilities
- Design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles
- Perform development & bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and Systems including devices like network switches and MCUs
- Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on DRIVE platform
- Architect and implement solutions to sophisticated issues & defects involving interactions between components partitioned across the large software stack
- Use Formal Methods to design and develop high integrity software
Requirements
- BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- More than 8 years of experience with device driver design and development on embedded systems
- Proven understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals and Ethernet networking
- Strong experience in understanding board schematics, debugging board design issues and engaging with vendors of hardware components
- Strong Python/C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills
- Experience configuring a complex virtualized system for the intended use case
- A strong teammate; self-motivated with a positive approach!
Nice to have
- Experience in taking features from inception to the product following the Software Development Process
- Hands-on experience with ISO26262 and ISO21434
- Hands-on experience with formal methods, especially using TLA+ and Ada/SPARK toolchains
