Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable technology solutions that support Trafilea's growth and the evolution of Trafilea Engine.
- Develop new capabilities and continuously improve existing systems, with a strong focus on internal APIs and infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code designed for high-scale environments.
- Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and implement solutions to address them.
- Improve system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews, helping raise engineering standards.
- Ensure strong observability through effective logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging practices.
- Document technical solutions clearly to enable effective cross-team collaboration.
- Help shape the backlog and connect technical decisions and KPIs with product and business priorities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong Full Stack experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js / NestJS or comparable technologies.
- Strong frontend development experience with React / [unspecified but implied] .
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and system reliability.
- Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern development workflows, and engineering quality practices.
- Experience with observability and production systems, including monitoring, logging, debugging, and identifying technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
