Role overview

We are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry and seeking Software Engineers to drive digital transformation, innovate in critical areas, and set the company up for continued growth. This role involves redesigning customer experiences with Modern Data platforms, evolving internal tools, and working in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing creative new algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly scalable, and highly reliable systems (think six 9’s)
Owning and delivering innovation end-to-end, from concept to shipped product
Analyzing and solving challenging problems through persistence and insight
Working as a team with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
Making customers really happy, because that’s why we do what we do
Learning a ton, whether you know a lot, or nothing about system software

Requirements

10+ years strong expertise in using C++, Java, Go or related programming languages
Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems, Operating systems, Linux Kernel, file systems, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.
A BS degree in Computer Science
Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment
Work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave
