Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust distributed systems that power their AI diagnostic tools
- Architect services that handle sensitive medical data reliably, scale gracefully under load, and integrate seamlessly with hospital infrastructure
- Build scalable microservices architectures using Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment
- Develop event-driven systems with RabbitMQ for reliable asynchronous processing of medical data
- Create robust FastAPI backends that process and serve medical imaging data at scale
- Build production-grade CI/CD pipelines with comprehensive testing, monitoring, and rollback capabilities
- Design scalable data architectures using SQL databases with smart indexing and caching strategies
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that ensure reliability in clinical environments
- Develop seamless integrations between internal services and external healthcare systems (HL7, FHIR)
- Build modern React frontends for clinical workflows and data management
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience with shipped products that real users depend on
- Strong system design skills with experience architecting distributed systems and microservices
- DevOps expertise with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, and Google Cloud Platform
- Backend proficiency in Python with Flask or FastAPI for building reliable APIs and services
- Database expertise in SQL and relational data modeling for handling complex medical data
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture patterns
- Clear communication skills and a pragmatic approach to solving complex technical problems
- Frontend competency in TypeScript and React
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare/medical software development
