Role overview
Der Moment is building an in-house design team to give visual identity to two brands — Jurafuchs, the leading legal education platform in the German-speaking world since 2018, and Bwlfuchs, a new brand for business students being launched alongside it. Both brands will share the same visual standard, and design is considered central to how the companies show up every day, not an afterthought.
Responsibilities
- Give Jurafuchs and Bwlfuchs a visual face across every post, template, and campaign
- Work as part of the in-house design team, closely collaborating with marketing managers and product designers
- Make the brands visible across all channels, from fast social content to thoughtful brand work
- Create print and digital assets aligned with the company's Design Language — including social media visuals, landing pages, and campaign graphics
- Visually build up Bwlfuchs as a second brand with the same quality standard as Jurafuchs
- Continuously develop and consistently apply Brand Guidelines and Visual Identity in daily work
- Create channel-specific social media assets (posts, stories, animations, campaign graphics) that are unmistakably recognisable as Jurafuchs
- Create landing pages, web content, and digital marketing materials that visually support campaigns
- Design infographics and layouts that make complex content clear and understandable, both digitally and in print
- Build reusable templates so the team does not start from scratch each time
- Co-shape and maintain marketing websites built with Framer and AI tools such as Claude
- Move seamlessly between quick social content and developed brand projects without quality suffering
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a comparable design role
- A portfolio demonstrating that you think in Creative Principles and Design Language
- Confidence with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- A strong feel for design, typography, and composition
- German language skills at least at C1 level, with confidence working with German texts and copywriting
- Ability to work in a structured and independent manner, bringing your own ideas rather than just processing briefs
Nice to have
- Prior experience working with AI tools in the design workflow
- Experience in creating social media assets
Benefits
- Build Fast: New features every week, short decision-making paths, and an AI-first mentality
- Work Your Way: 100% remote, flexible working hours, and a focus on results rather than presence
- One Team: Radical Candor, personal accountability, and zero tolerance for ego shows; team retreats twice a year in Europe
- Purpose-driven work: The company believes access to legal education is a matter of societal and rule-of-law relevance, and aims to make it more accessible, effective, and relevant
Additional details
- You are not joining an empty structure: there is an existing marketing and product team to collaborate with closely
- You will help build the in-house design function from the ground up, making many autonomous decisions about how assets look, how templates are structured, and where the Visual Identity goes next
- The role is intentionally broad: you will move between fast social content and larger brand projects depending on what matters most at any given time
