Role overview
We are looking for a Data & AI Solution Architect to design enterprise data models, semantic architectures, and conversational AI solutions that enable trusted analytics and scalable data products across the organization. This position will be full-time and remote.
Responsibilities
- Create enterprise data models (ERDs), semantic architectures using Databricks Metric Views, and Databricks Genie solution architectures to support trusted data products, self-service analytics, and conversational AI
- Design solution architectures for modern data and AI platforms on Databricks
- Define and promote enterprise standards for data products, data modelling, Medallion Architecture, DBT, Unity Catalog, and data engineering
- Create reusable architecture patterns, reference designs, and implementation guidance for HUB & SPOKE teams
- Design semantic models and architecture patterns that enable trusted analytics and Databricks Genie conversational AI
- Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, office hours, and technical coaching to guide teams in delivering solutions aligned with enterprise standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or modern cloud data platforms
- Strong experience with Databricks, DBT, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python
- Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, semantic modelling, Medallion Architecture, and data product design
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
- Ability to guide delivery teams in adopting enterprise architecture standards
Nice to have
- Experience designing semantic layers using Databricks Metric Views
- Experience enabling analytics or conversational AI with Databricks Genie
