We are looking for a DevOps Intern to support our engineering team in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, automation, and modern DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Support infrastructure provisioning and management using cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Work on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes basics)
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and logs; assist in troubleshooting issues
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to streamline deployment workflows
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP – at least one)
- Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization concepts
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Scripting knowledge (Python / Bash preferred)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Nice to have
- Exposure to Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of networking basics (DNS, HTTP, load balancing)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
