Role overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Financial Crime Technology team, responsible for building and maintaining enterprise‑grade solutions that detect and prevent financial crimes such as money laundering, fraud, and sanctions violations. You will work closely with developers, product owners, data engineers, and compliance SMEs to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, secure, and resilient FinCrime applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API and web applications using Selenium or Playwright.
- Implement Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to enhance collaboration and test coverage.
- Build, configure, and maintain automated testing pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Participate in the planning and execution of non‑functional testing activities such as performance, security, and reliability testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automated tests into the overall software development lifecycle.
- Manage test cases, defects, and test execution using JIRA and XRay.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience with API and Web automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
- Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
- Experience in creating and managing CI/CD GitLab pipelines for automation workflows.
- Familiarity with non‑functional testing concepts; hands‑on experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Java programming.
- Experience with JIRA and XRay for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python is desirable.
- Hands‑on experience with performance, security, and reliability testing.
