Role overview

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Juniper Service Provider network environments.
Support network design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and optimisation activities.
Troubleshoot complex routing, MPLS, VPN, and platform-related issues through to resolution.
Manage and track JTAC cases, Product Reports (PRs), software fixes, and RMAs.
Test and validate new designs, software releases, patches, and features before production deployment.
Develop implementation plans, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), rollback plans, and technical documentation.
Support Juniper MX, PTX, and other relevant routing and switching platforms.
Provide expertise across MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and related Service Provider technologies.
Develop network automation scripts and operational tooling using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Conduct technical workshops, knowledge transfer, and training for customer engineering teams.
Perform configuration reviews, network health checks, risk assessments, and best-practice recommendations.
Produce regular technical reports, status updates, and documentation.
