Role overview
The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center of about 2,300 engineers that has grown into the company’s largest Operations hub, providing engineering, planning, procurement, project management, testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning services. The India Operations Centre team in Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy units in over 40 countries, delivering engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries, and follows a mission to develop a global value chain that shares key activities, resources and expertise across geographic boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer needs and Prepare Bill of Materials, deviation list and detailed product configurations.
- Good understanding of installed base and ability to offer competent cost-effective solutions.
- Deliver accurate cost estimations as per tender scope of work.
- Provide Technical Support for the Products.
- Participate in the Risk Review process as needed in accordance with Company policy.
- Verify the commercial and legal interests of the offer with Front end Sales and “Commercial & legal advisor”.
- Promote process feedback to the organization.
- Promote a positive customer experience by submitting quality deliverables on time.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical & Electronics.
- 4-8 yrs. of experience.
- Sound knowledge in Substation Automation products in Hitachi Energy portfolio like MicroSCADA, SDM600, DMS600, Remote Terminal Units.
- Prior engineering & tendering experience, to handle tenders and manage risk assessments.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
