Role overview
Responsibilities
- Work on development projects/enhancements for ServiceNow
- Handle troubleshooting tickets in ServiceNow
- Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, development skills such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS
- Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances
- Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment
- Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated
- Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current
- Peer review, mentor and share technical knowledge with service management team
- Work with process owners and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of total and relevant experience as ServiceNow Developer
- Worked in ITSM organizational structure
- Experience implementing core process areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB
- ServiceNow development experience
- ITIL knowledge
- ServiceNow System Admin Certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant work experience
