Bachelors in CS, IT, or related field 5-8 years in database development/admin Proficient in SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL. Strong SQL and optimization skills. Experience in schema design and data modelling Knowledge of data security/compliance Familiarity Database Design & Modeling, Performance Tuning & Optimization, Operations: Availability, Backup & Recovery, Security, Compliance & Auditing. Release Change Management, Monitoring & Incident Response Data Quality & Lifecycle Management. Qualifications Strong database administration skills, including experience with Database Administration and Databases in production environments. Proficiency in Database Design, including schema modeling, indexing strategies, and performance optimization. Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues, with solid Troubleshooting skills for performance, security, and availability. Experience configuring and managing Replication and other high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. Hands-on experience with relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL databases is beneficial. Knowledge of SQL, query tuning, and stored procedures; understanding of database security best practices and access control. Comfort working in a web development environment, collaborating with development and DevOps teams on application integrations. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
