Responsibilities
- Owning, driving, communicating on, and respectfully engaging all stakeholders to ensure project success, with a focus on integrity and accountability
- Ensuring programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resource expectations
- Supporting identification of key technical and project risks and issues, and actively implementing mitigating actions
- Maintaining strong customer focus and working with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Assisting in conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
- Supporting management of the delivery schedule for critical third-party project deliverables
- Advocating for appropriate Canonical portfolio technologies to customers
Requirements
- Solid academic achievement in a science, software engineering, and/or information technology field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to "make things happen" using a professional approach and effective negotiation techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills from school or university experience
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject, or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen education or career path
- Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
