Role overview
This is a Prodops role focusing on TFS and Azure DevOps. The role involves supporting over 100 legacy .Net applications and assisting in the migration from TFS to Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot failure (Build vs Code) and find resolution
- Support legacy application (100+ which are .Net code)
- Understand existing pipelines and be able to create new ones
- Determine why the build or release is failed and be able to redirect to Development team
Requirements
- C#/.Net skillset
- Pipeline experience
- Knowledge of C#/.Net
- Powershell Experience
- General understanding of IIS webserver, binding, security, cerificates
- General understanding of Application Infrastructure Components such Load Balancers, Firewalls, Web Servers, Application Servers, Database Servers etc
- TFS tool experience
- IIS
- CICD using any tool
Nice to have
- TFS to Azure devops migration experience
- Experience on YAML pipeline
Additional details
- Currently they are using TFS, soon they will migrate to Azure DevOps
- Both Onsite & Offshore can follow same must have skills
