Role overview

CyberArrow is a cybersecurity compliance and awareness company trusted by major brands including Emirates Airlines, American Express, and Bupa. It is currently investing significant resources to deliver successful revenue increase across its Enterprise GRC and Awareness Platform offerings. This is a full-time remote role for a Laravel Engineer on the team.

Responsibilities

Design overall architecture of the web application
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
Maintain code integrity and organization
Design and develop server-side logic using Laravel
Define and maintain database
Create reusable, effective, and scalable PHP code
Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across related applications
Design the different layers of the web application
Implement security and data protection measures
Implement bug fixes
Develop new features
Any other duties as directed by Project Manager

Requirements

Excellent hard skills, highly organized and able to multi-task
Self-driven and proactive nature
Passion for the idea of knowledge sharing and innovation
Passionate about software development
Coachable and open to new ideas
Belief in our core product offerings
Exposure to Laravel applications — either direct work experience in the space or deep personal interest coupled with work experience on an innovative B2B SaaS product or service
Minimum 5 years experience in software engineering
Experience with Javascript
Experience with Laravel
Excellent software engineering skills
University degree within Business, Economics, Information Technology, or Engineering
Proven track record of hitting set KPIs

Nice to have

Previous experience of building a SaaS application
Experience within the cybersecurity SaaS
