Role overview
CSG is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their high-performing team. CSG empowers companies to build unforgettable experiences, utilizing over 40 years of technology to help recognizable brands solve business challenges and evolve within the digital economy.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using C# and .NET frameworks
- Participate actively in Agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand and refine Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of complex software issues to identify and implement effective solutions
- Contribute to the creation and review of Software Design specifications and architectural blueprints
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices for Software Development
- Conduct thorough Software Testing, including unit, integration, and system tests, to ensure product quality and reliability
- Engage in Stakeholder Management by communicating technical concepts clearly and managing expectations
- Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development
- Produce clear and concise Technical Writing, including design documents, API documentation, and user guides
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in Software Development with C# and .NET
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile Development methodologies
- Ability to interpret and contribute to Business Requirements Documents
- Proficiency in debugging techniques and tools
- Demonstrated experience in Software Design principles and pattern
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development life cycle
- Experience with various Software Testing approaches and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective Stakeholder Management
- Prior experience or a strong desire to provide Mentorship
- Aptitude for clear and effective Technical Writing
