The CPQ & NPI Operations team within Product Operations is central to bringing new products to market and optimizing the quote-to-cash process at Rubrik. The team ensures seamless integration of next-generation quoting tools, drives automation, and enhances the sales experience by partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance. The role involves owning the strategic vision for Rubrik's CPQ platform, leading a high-calibre team, and ensuring the platform scales with business growth while maintaining operational integrity and ease of use.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for Rubrik's CPQ platform and Quote-to-Cash ecosystem — ensuring the platform scales with Rubrik's business growth, evolving GTM strategy, and product portfolio expansion
- Serve as the senior business owner and executive thought partner for CPQ, driving alignment across Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, IT, and Product on priorities, investments, and outcomes
- Lead a team of high-calibre business analysts and operations managers; cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous development — elevating team capability to match the ambition of Rubrik's growth trajectory
- Define and govern the CPQ operating model — establishing scalable processes, data standards, and governance frameworks that reduce friction, improve sales velocity, and ensure quote accuracy at scale
- Architect CPQ solutions that support Rubrik's NPI, bundling, and commercial innovation requirements — enabling the business to bring new offerings to market faster without compromising operational integrity
- Partner with senior Sales and GTM leadership to identify and drive strategic initiatives that improve seller productivity, reduce deal cycle time, and enhance the overall quoting experience
- Establish and own a CPQ performance framework — designing KPIs and OKRs that provide leadership with real-time visibility into the health of the quoting process, system adoption, and operational efficiency
- Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies and capabilities into the CPQ ecosystem; build the business case, champion investment decisions, and oversee execution
- Drive organisational change management at scale — ensuring new processes, systems, and capabilities are adopted effectively across global Sales and Operations teams, with robust training and enablement programs
- Represent CPQ strategy in cross-functional planning forums and executive reviews; develop compelling, insight-driven narratives that connect CPQ performance to broader business outcomes
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Operations functions, with deep expertise in CPQ strategy and end-to-end Quote-to-Cash transformation
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale CPQ platforms in high-growth SaaS environments — from foundational design through enterprise-wide adoption
- Strategic thinker with strong financial and business acumen; experienced in translating complex business models, pricing strategies, and GTM motions into scalable CPQ solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick); hands-on depth paired with the ability to set architectural direction and hold technical teams accountable to best practices
- Proven track record of leading large-scale systems and process transformation programs, driving alignment across Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, and Product organisations
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills — ability to influence and partner with C-suite and senior leadership, synthesise complexity into clear narratives, and drive strategic decisions
- 6+ years of people management experience, including leading managers and building high-performing, senior-calibre teams in fast-paced, scaling environments
- Strong command of data modelling, revenue analytics, and business intelligence to inform CPQ strategy and performance management
Nice to have
- Experience with master data management, pricing governance, and revenue recognition considerations in a SaaS or subscription business is strongly preferred
