As a Network Engineer in DHL India Telecom Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of DHL’s network infrastructure spread across multiple business units in India. Your primary responsibility is to monitor, identify, and escalate issues affecting business-critical services across technologies such as LAN, WAN & Wireless LAN. In addition to operational duties, you will contribute to service improvement by analyzing recurring issues and providing feedback and recommendations to help optimize network performance, reduce operational risk, and enhance overall service delivery. This includes identifying patterns, proposing configuration improvements, and collaborating with engineering and architecture teams. You will also mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team. This position requires a blend of deep technical knowledge, strong analytical thinking, and effective communication skills. You will work closely with global teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that DHL’s network infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what you will do Lead and coordinate incident resolution for Telecom infrastructure. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LAN, WAN (SDWAN, MPLS) & WLAN. Provide interim and permanent solutions for business-critical incidents. Analyze incident trends and network capacity for proactive planning. Participate in change management processes. Monitor and resolve infrastructure events impacting service quality. Mentor and guide junior engineers. Demonstrate ownership and accountability in all assigned tasks. Responsible for documentation and updating internal processes within the team. What you should have: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 10 years of hands-on experience in Telecoms or Network Operations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Fluent in English (spoken and written). CCNP Network Certification. Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Cisco switching/routing, and wireless LAN. Familiarity with firewall (FW), intrusion prevention (NIPS), F5 load balancing and Proxy. Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ITIL Foundation. An array of benefits for you: Hybrid work arrangements to balance in-office collaboration and home flexibility.
