User Experience Designer - UI/UX Designer - Part time/Contractual

Dhaivabhoomi is an early-stage India's first Immersive Faith-Tech startup building a Telugu-first devotional experience — where scripture, ritual, and daily practice come alive through short stories, immersive visuals, and a digital home altar. Most devotional apps are flat — static images, lifeless screens. We're building the opposite: an experience with real depth and atmosphere, where a devotee doesn't just read a story or look at an idol, but feels drawn inside a living tradition. That sense of immersion is what this role owns. You'll be the visual mind who decides how it looks, moves, and feels. What you'll shape The immersive reading experience — how a devotee moves through short devotional "capsules," discovering related stories through gentle, in-story invitations, never feeling lost The digital pooja mandir — a personal space for daily devotion, where a devotee lights a diya, offers a prayer, and returns each morning. It should feel sacred, warm, and alive , not a game How atmosphere, depth, and motion carry devotional feeling — the difference between a screen you look at and one you step into A clean, reusable design system our developers can build against What we're looking for A designer with a strong sense of atmosphere and depth — you think in mood and motion, not just layout Product and interaction thinking — you can explain why, not only what A feel for restraint and reverence; you understand sacred means calm and deep, not loud Sensitivity to vernacular / Indian-language design, and a feel for how Telugu actually reads on everyday Android phones Bonus: motion, parallax, or micro-interaction craft We care about your skills and your thinking — not your years of experience.
