Role overview
This role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, creating infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Terragrunt across greenfield and brownfield environments, and operating Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, GKE, AKS, or on-premises. The position involves implementing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or FluxCD, establishing a comprehensive observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry), managing distributed services such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis within Kubernetes, and collaborating closely with customers from architecture discussions through incident debugging. Additionally, the role includes dedicated hacktime for personal startup projects and encourages continuous learning by exploring new CNCF projects.
