They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full-stack agile software development skills to help grow their business by writing code for major brands, scale-ups, and future industry leaders. The role involves working as part of an elite three-person Fireteam with other skilled coders to solve customers' most vexing technical problems. The position emphasizes working remotely, tackling new challenges, and having the freedom to self-direct work while collaborating with sharp, skilled coders.
Responsibilities
- Write code for some of the biggest brands in the world, exciting scale-ups, and the industry leaders of the future
- Work as part of an elite three-person Fireteam with other sharp, skilled coders who know how to do top-notch, innovative work in record time
- Help customers solve their toughest dev challenges
- Tackle new things all the time
- Have the freedom to self-direct your own work
- Provide analysis of complex problems and recommend solutions
- Analyze customer requirements and prioritize tasks from a technical perspective
- Enforce community standards, code guidelines and design patterns in a development team
Requirements
- AR $900K ARS/mo. - UY $252K URU/mo. - ES €56K EUR/yr. - Anywhere™ $69K USD/yr.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent technical skills and relevant experience with Node/React
- Experience with Cloud Development in AWS both building cloud-native applications and migrating existing solutions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying apps to AWS in an automated fashion
- Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems
- Familiar with community standards, code guidelines and design patterns, and know how to enforce them in a development team
- Experience with a variety data stores and designing suitable data models
- Computer science degree or relevant professional experience
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Nice to have
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Docker & containers
- Experience with AWS Lambda & S3 Bucket
