Quality Specialist - Remote

Job Description Summary Job Description Essential Responsibilities: As the Quality Specialist you will: Will be required to work independently throughout multiple factories internal/external with multiple departments and areas Support Lean activities as required Will be required to engage actively in the facility through direct and remote communication. Maintaining and updating quality documents (Work instructions, Procedures, Forms, Templates) Managing document distribution and version control Entering quality data into databases Support quality read across including BIQ implementation where applicable Managing supplier NCR/SDR and routing to appropriate party Reviewing and collecting supplier performance KPIs Supplier engagement for 4D/8D RCA resolution Site inspections as needed to include fixtures, stored components, process audits, etc. Preparing audit documentation and materials Assisting with Audit follow up actions Conducting on-site audits including external sites when required Review quality record data inputs from internal/external suppliers and provide analysis based on record review Schedule and managing support of quality meetings Tracking meeting minutes and action item tracking Qualifications/Requirements: Ability to work 1st Shift (7am-330pm) High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Must have 6 months mechanical, quality knowledge of manufacturing processes Minimum 1 years experience in administrative activities Minimum 1 years experience or working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management System procedures Desired Characteristics: Proficient in various functions of Microsoft Office. Strong written/oral communication skills. Ability and willingness to take initiative, and work without direct supervision. Ability to work with a wide with a wide variety of personnel at all levels inside and outside of the facility Should be able to work overtime when necessary to meet operation objectives Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities Pay Transparency: The base hourly pay range for this position is $40 - $50/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
