Role overview

Elementor is the leading website building platform for WordPress professionals, powering over 16M websites across 180 countries. We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer to join the Internal Professional Services team in our Customer Experience (CX) department to help build and evolve our system. We seek a strong engineer on both the back end and the front end who takes real ownership, sees the whole problem, and moves fast to pick things up, unblock themselves, ship, and iterate.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and ship features across the full stack of our system, from requirements to production.
Build back-end services, APIs, and data models using Node.js and Python that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Develop and customize WordPress solutions (PHP).
Build clean, responsive front-end interfaces and user flows.
Integrate the system with internal and external services and APIs.
Manage and work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and databases.
Ensure code quality through version control, code reviews, automated testing, and clear documentation.
Take ownership and move fast: proactively find problems and opportunities, make pragmatic decisions, and deliver without waiting to be told what is next.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CX, Product, R&D) to turn needs into working technical solutions.
Provide technical mentorship to other developers.
Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, strong in both back end and front end.
Strong front-end skills: React and JavaScript (ES6+), plus HTML and CSS.
Strong back-end skills: Node.js and Python, REST API design, and building production-grade services.
Proven experience with WordPress development and customization (PHP).
Solid experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including data modeling and query optimization.
Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform.
Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, code reviews, and automated testing.
High ownership and a proactive mindset: a track record of taking projects from idea to successful completion with minimal guidance.
Fast, hands-on execution: learns quickly, prioritizes well, and delivers in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in agile development methodologies (sprints).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
