Role overview

Flying Bisons is a leading Strategic Design & Digital Consulting company based in Warsaw, working on high-impact projects across Europe and the Middle East. Their mission is to help clients Unleash Digital Potential™ by focusing on Strategic Design—a discipline where design craft (10%) is complemented by navigating politics, aligning stakeholders, and protecting visions (the Invisible 90%). The role involves creating best-in-class UX/UI solutions, from research and ideation to visual design and handoff, within large, multidisciplinary teams on enterprise-scale projects.

Responsibilities

  • Creating best-in-class UX and UI design solutions, from user flows and information architecture to high-fidelity, visually polished interfaces
  • Mapping user flows, defining information architecture, designing wireframes, mockups and fully styled UI components
  • Ensuring designs meet project requirements and standards, while maintaining visual and interaction consistency across the product
  • Involvement in research to understand how the product is performing and identifying opportunities for further enhancements
  • Reviewing and improving current products, with continuous optimisation through analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar
  • Working in an end-to-end digital process, from research and ideation to visual design and handoff to development
  • Visualising ideas and inspiring others through interactive prototypes, design systems and UI kits
  • Working with large design systems, including maintaining and extending them with new UI patterns and components
  • Managing and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients and vendors
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Manager to align design objectives and project goals
  • Working on a big project involving multiple international and multidisciplinary teams of researchers, strategists, data analysts, product managers, product owners and developers to translate business requirements into engaging design solutions

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio of commercial projects
  • Full understanding of the best design processes and how to tailor them to user and client needs
  • Understanding of web and mobile design principles, including responsive and adaptive design, with a keen eye for layout, hierarchy and micro-interactions
  • Understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar
  • Familiarity with designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices
  • Solid command of layout, grid systems, typography, color theory and component-based design
  • AI-first mindset and design approach
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Polish, minimum B2 level
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate both UX rationale and UI decisions to stakeholders
  • Proactive attitude, with the ability to solve problems and figure things out
  • Extreme attention to detail across user journeys, visual alignment and interactive states

Nice to have

  • Experience in UX audits would be a plus
  • Experience with projects in the MENA region would be a big plus
