Responsibilities

Work in a team to create high-quality, sustainable code for marketing solutions
Use the latest technologies to refine and broaden applications, making them more effective and scalable
Demonstrate multitasking, prioritising, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
Solve problems and analyze data to make meaningful improvements
Work closely with technical and solution architects to build and deploy in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Personalisation (optional)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketers, team leads, and other developers to own solutions from start to deployment
Design and build email templates and web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPScript, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)
Set up and manage email campaigns, segment audiences, and automate workflows in Marketing Cloud using Automation Studio and Journey Builder
Build integrations between Marketing Cloud and third-party platforms using Marketing Cloud APIs, including REST and SOAP API scenarios
Configure and set up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, Contact model) with SQL proficiency
Document setup and maintenance of Marketing Cloud solutions, including technical guides and user manuals
Serve as the team's point of contact for technical decisions and remove obstacles
Handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel
Continuously learn, set, teach, and apply software best practices, tools, and technologies

Requirements

At least 12 months of experience in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack, either as a developer or an email specialist
Ideally certified as a 'Marketing Cloud Email Specialist' or 'Marketing Cloud Consultant'
Profound knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including expertise in programmatic scripts such as AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), and WSProxy
Proficiency in SQL-based query activities using complex JOINS for audience segmentation, reporting, and data extracts
Excellent knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs in SFMC and the ability to solve business challenges through them
Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams while being able to work independently
Detailed grasp of fundamental web technology concepts and ability to write well-organized code
Strong efficiency in English language in both written and verbal form
